The AI assistant
The assistant is a chat panel that can actually do things in your projects — not just answer questions.
Open it
Section titled “Open it”Click Assistant in the top toolbar, or press ⌘K / Ctrl+K and choose Ask the AI assistant. You’ll need a saved provider key (see AI overview) and a Pro Team or Business plan.
If you’ve saved more than one provider key, pick which one to use from the dropdown at the top of the panel.
What it can do
Section titled “What it can do”The assistant works only on your projects, and asks before large changes. It can:
- Find and open your projects and floors, and summarise them.
- Search the device catalogue.
- Create a project, draw walls, and place devices.
- Run a coverage estimate for a protocol and report the dead zones.
- Export a 3D-printable model.
For example: “What’s the Zigbee coverage on my ground floor?”, “Add a hub in the hallway and re-check coverage,” or “Draft a starter layout for a 3-bed single-storey.”
Seeing its edits
Section titled “Seeing its edits”When the assistant changes a floor you have open, a “This plan was updated — Reload” banner appears at the top of the editor. Reload to see the changes.
